There are two types of advertising, and they take place online and offline respectively.
Online advertising consists of ad types you see online. It is marketing that takes place on the internet. An example of this could be SEA (Search Engine Advertising) and SMM (Social Media Marketing).
Offline advertising is the type of advertising that is not shown on the internet. This could, for example, be bus advertising, advertising copy in newspapers and events.
Ad design can take many forms. Below are a few examples of how a message can be communicated.
Text: Ad copy is a written message. It could, for example, be on Google Ads or in a blog post written by you or someone else about your business, your products/services, providing buyers with valuable knowledge.
Audio: Audio advertising can be a radio commercial. It can also be a podcast.
Video: When you advertise through videos. It could be a video of a customer speaking about the company on social media. Video advertising can also be TV commercials.
Image: Image advertising can be a banner, also called display advertising. Your message is designed graphically within a given format that fits the place where you want to advertise.
Prices depend on which form of advertising you are interested in working with. For example, it is more expensive to have a TV commercial shown before the programme 'Strictly Come Dancing' than to advertise with a Facebook campaign over a few days.
